Women’s Shelter Assistant
The Women’s Shelter Assistant will work under the direct supervision of the Shelter Manager. She must have experience relevant to Rescue or Shelter Ministry and must have a valid Florida Driver License. This individual must be a born-again Christian of proven testimony and evidence of spiritual growth including: leadership, discipleship, maturity, and discernment, patience, objectivity, and stewardship effectiveness. This person must be able to share her testimony with program residents with Christ-centered behavior, i.e., treating people with dignity, respect, compassion, and integrity at all times. Work at the Shelter requires continual attention to details in overseeing residents, holding to policy program guidelines, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines. This employee must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated flexibility and an ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
Sales Associate - part time
The Thrift Store Sales Associate works under the direct supervision of the Thrift Store Manager. This individual must be a born-again Christian of proven testimony and evidence of spiritual growth including: leadership, discipleship, maturity, discernment, patience, objectivity, and stewardship effectiveness. This person must be able to share his or her testimony with program clients. This individual will operate a cash register to record all transactions accurately and efficiently. Excellent customer service being critical, this person will assist customers by phone or in person at the cash register. This individual must be able to answer customer's questions concerning location, price, and use of merchandise and be able to follow standard Jericho operating procedures when carrying out position responsibilities
